Aerial Yoga

Yoga using the support and enhancement of the silk swings. Achieve more length and depth with less strenuous effort, yet also challenge your core body strength. Feel the traction and opening of gravity as you hang or hold the swing to support your weight.

Not for yogis with vertigo.

All Levels Yoga

This class honors your limitations with modifications and guides you into more focus. Building strength and awareness, allowing a sense of inner calm to arise. Namasté

Beach Yoga

Our summers are short, so we like to get outside at the Grand Haven City Beach and enjoy the outdoor earthing bliss, as we practice in the sand, listening to the birds and waves.

Gentle Stretch

There’s something so luxurious about not being in a hurry to get off the floor, and having the time to really nurture the spine and create space in the body. It’s about breathing and feeling and letting whatever it is, be, without forcing, while you let your nervous system unwind. A gentle stretch class with deep relaxation and conscious breathing. Great for beginners.

Mindful Healing Flow

Inspired by Grand Haven Area High School students, this class builds awareness about our mental health. In Mindful Healing Flow, we set intentions along with a choice of sharing which helps us feel more connected to ourselves and others. A gentle practice, cultivating self-love with affirmations ... a gift for everyone.

Rest & Restore

Come in and recharge! It is a restorative yoga practice that is relaxing, rejuvenating, and bringing you into the healing machine that you are. Totally calming the nervous system and creating mind, body, spirit connection. Savasana utilizes leg and head wraps that are delicious! Great for beginners.

Vin Yin Yoga

This class will begin with a warming and heart-opening yang practice allowing prana or energy to begin flowing in the body. The second half of the class will focus on yin poses held longer to stretch the connective tissues helping us to relax into the deepest layers of the body. You will be sure to leave feeling calm, peaceful and balanced after this healing practice.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa allows for a lot of variety, but will almost always include sun salutations. Expect to move, sometimes vigorously, from pose to pose. Whether the class is fast or slow, includes advanced poses, or is very alignment-oriented will depend on the individual teacher and the particular style in which he or she is trained.

Yin Yoga

Feel the love juices flow into your heart ... All postures are done on the floor for promoting growth, clearing energetic blockages, and enhancing circulation. The postures are held with the muscles relaxed enabling the connective tissue to feel the stretch. Carey will assist with modifications to meet you where you are. This is a good class for beginners as well as yogis in a regular practice. Great for beginners.

Yoga Fusion

This is a class with select combinations of styles or types of yoga that are offered to increase your journey of awareness. Vinyasa flow, Aerial (using silks hanging from the ceiling), Dharma Wheel (yoga on the wheel), pranayama (breathing techniques), and Dhyana (meditation).

Yoga Hike

Yoga helps regular hikers become more limber, mindful, and aligned when they hike. And hiking offers greater lung capacity and overall fitness to yogis who tend to do a less aerobic mat practice. What's more, it's a form of holistic multitasking that allows you to savor nature as you deepen your yoga practice.

Yoga (Gentle) Wheel

A yoga wheel is a circularly shaped prop that helps open the front side body, assists in advanced yoga postures, and rolls out the spine. The yoga wheel will immediately stretch your entire front side body – hip flexors, abdomen, chest, and shoulders. It’s a serious heart opener! It will massage the entire length of your spine in a safe but deep way. The wheel helps yoga practitioners move deeper into postures, specifically heart opening postures like backbends and forearm balances. Great for beginners.
