We offer a variety of classes for all ages and fitness levels.

Gentle Yoga (prenatal yoga)| Gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga | Vinyasa Yoga | Astanga Yoga | Restorative Yoga | Intro to Men's Yoga | Men's Yoga  Kids Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing style of yoga. We link  yoga poses to the breath. It is a very creative style so there are no two classes exactly the same. Please let your instructor know if you have any health issues that would restrict your movement in anyway. All of our yoga classes are good for stress reduction and developing flexibility, strength, toning, concentration, and inner peace.

Check out the class schedule for current session offerings.  If you are new to yoga and have general questions about our yoga classes you may want to check out our class tips.

If you are new to yoga (no matter what age) please come to Gentle Yoga for several sessions. Then decide if you want to try the more intense styles.

Gentle Yoga(prenatal yoga)
Introduction to yoga's breathing techniques, classic yoga poses and meditation. Great for anyone new to yoga no matter what age or ability level.  Safe and effective for pre or postnatal. A slow, relaxing and rejuvenating yoga style. No two classes are the same.

Gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Introduction to moderately challenging yoga poses that are linked to yoga breathing techniques. This is a flowing style of  yoga class suitable for people who have some athletic ability and not seriously restricted by body issues.  Great for a little more challenging yoga experience.

Vinyasa Yoga
Our most popular, challenging and creative style of yoga it is a fast moving and intense flow of mostly standing poses and intermediate/advanced yoga positions. This is suitable for athletic beginners. Intensifies the focus to the breath and meditation techniques. Some yoga experience would be helpful but not necessary. This is a hot style of yoga, please bring a small hand towel and dress in layers.

Astanga Yoga (short form)
This is the most popular style of Yoga in the United States, Astanga is a precise sequence of powerful poses linked to the breath. We add Yin finish (long restive holding poses) to this hot, challenging class that builds overall toning, shaping and strength as well as builds concentration and stamina. Suitable for athletic beginners and people who want to experience a more formal style of yoga.
 YIN YANG YOGA  (New style)

A new format that everyone is raving about. We build strength and heat doing multiple sun salutations and standing poses linked to the breath  (Yang) hot style, but then we move into a very deep slow pace (Yin) where we will do restorative deep relaxing poses. A balanced class that restores the mind and body and spirit.

Restorative Yoga
Yoga Therapy --extremely relaxing,  rejuvenating and healing class. This style works in the nervous system to restore the connection and balance between the mind and body and spirit. This is an excellent non-weight bearing style of yoga for recuperation from illness, injury, surgery or a long period of inactivity.
 YOGA/pilates

A very fun and balanced blend of gentle yoga and pilates matt work. You will get to know your core abs.  as well as tone hips, thighs and back and build flexibility and inner peace. Now that's a great class.
